As is the case in many series. The first book grabs you, then the author starts to change things into something that doesn't resemble why you started reading in the first place.

If you want a blade runneresque book with a virtual world thrown in. This is your book. It is by far a cyberpunk book. Though the jumping in and out of virtual world and real world is a little jumbled to me.

As for LitRPG, the book completely stops trying. The first book you get the character screen. After the first couple of fights you get a few levels and the customarily upgrade choices. But after that one time , it never happens again. Robbing banks, killing bosses, saving cities... Still level 3. No more reference to character sheets or skill sets.

As for sex, there is a lot of it. 90% is with other women. Once with a man. But it is not a lesbian or bisexual character. I think the author wants you to understand that in Greek culture it just doesn't matter. The character just doesnt care about nudity or difference in man or woman.

While the first book would be 5 stars. This one is just left me sighing at the end, wondering what happen to the book I fell in love with.

Let's trust the person who repeatedly hacks my computers and body. Who withholds info and forces sex on me. Main character is an idiot in my opinion.
Once again this author went for conspiracies within conspiracies. Once again he has made it overly complicated and detracted from the story. Add in the sexual fetishes the author routinely adds in his stories, and you have the mess that is this book.

The author has changed the MC so much, I have lost any empathy I had for her.
On the positive side, this author while not tying up loose threads, has not left us with a cliff hanger ending.

If it comes relatively soon, I will read the next book. I am not overly concerned about whether he does or not.
I enjoyed this book, I liked the setting and the plot. But while it has minor litRPG elements, it's not what I would label as litRPG. The first book seemed to have a bit more of those elements. I would have liked to see more of Persephone's Network abilities. We were shown she had other abilities than just dying over and over. What about those rare mythological plants she could grow? What about wither? There seemed to be wasted effort there to show them to us but then never use them.
And while it wasn't too distracting, another editing pass would have helped. A few typos, wrong names, etc.
I very much enjoyed this work, however *spoiler*...........
The protagonist is lead along and controlled by the antagonist the entire time. Evil actions are made out to be acceptable ones and the protagonist makes love with monsters. The fact that I enjoyed the Author's other work and the preceding book in this series influenced me to rate the book at 3 rather than 1 star. The ending showed no triumphant hero, rather it showed a hero that gave up to monsters and let them have their way with her.
